How to Become a Member
Interested individuals and organizations whose objectives fit with NBPRU strategic goals can apply for membership appointment. Details are are available in the 'Membership Appointment' document below. Interested individuals should fill out the 'NBPRU Individual Membership Form' which can be downloaded from below and submit an updated curriculum vitae. Interested organizations should have a senior nursing administrator submit to the NBPRU Co-Directors a letter outlining their organization’s objectives and how it can contribute to the work of the NBPRU. Organizations applying for membership should address their application letters to both NBPRU Co-Directors, as follows: Barbara Davies, RN PhD Irmajean Bajnok, RN, PhD All completed application letters and forms should be sent c/o Nicoda Foster by e-mail at nfoster@rnao.org or mailed to: Nicoda Foster Membership Appointment Term and Renewal Procedure Senior and Associate Investigator/Decision-Maker and Organizational members will normally be appointed for a 3 year term. Affiliate Investigator/Decision-Maker members will be appointed for an agreed upon term necessary to either complete their training and/or research project(s). Re-appointment for additional terms will be subject to the approval of the Co-Directors and Membership Review Working Group. The Membership Review Working Group will review membership appointments and make recommendations on renewal to the NBPRU Co-Directors. Individual and organizational members interested in re-appointment should submit a letter to the NBPRU Co-Directors outlining their objectives, how they have contributed and can continue to contribute to the work of the NBPRU.
